Hello, I’m Sidd!

I’m a Machine Learning Engineer and Researcher based in Pittsburgh, PA. I build AI-native products at the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center and am pursuing a Master’s in Computer Vision at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science (Robotics Institute).

Before this, I built production ML systems for AWS Bedrock, Amazon Transcribe, and Amazon Translate, working across speech and language. I earned my Bachelor’s in Mathematics-Computer Science from UC San Diego in 2022.

About Me

I work at the intersection of machine learning engineering and AI research, focusing on systems that interpret, analyze, and generate multimodal information. My research covers vision-language models, trustworthy multimodal AI, and visual reasoning, with peer-reviewed work published at COLING and an ICMR workshop. I also review for workshops at ICML, KDD, and COLM, and serve as an ethics reviewer for NeurIPS.

Outside of work, I follow the frontier of AI systems that blend language, vision, and reasoning.
